High-quality side stand bypass dongle by the US manufacturer VANASCHE MOTORSPORTS, suitable for the below-mentioned KTM and Husqvarna models. KTM/Husqvarna have gone to great lengths to provide a side stand sensor that cannot be tampered with by not allowing any gear engagement without the side stand in the "UP" position. In spite of the undisputed safety aspect, there are a few other issues. If this sensor is to fail (or the magnet lost) while in the field, the rider will be left stranded. However, this is not a simple roadside repair, like cutting the switch off and twisting wires together or even digging up a proper resistor to temporarily alleviate the problem. This is a 50% duty cycle square wave that would be almost impossible to duplicate without the proper hardware, an oscilloscope, and the necessary knowledge in circuits/electronics. Carrying one of these dongles on the bike provides for a little piece of mind should the OEM product fail.
