The OS-BASE is the latest addition to the KRIEGA Overlander System (OS). An innovative modular pannier system that fits virtually any trail, enduro or dual sport bike without the need for metal pannier frames.
The OS-BASE is an 'over the seat harness' which allows KRIEGA'S OS-6, OS-12 or OS-18 Adventure Packs (all available separately) to be mounted as panniers. The modular design allows to modify the luggage set-up to suit any ride - from a day’s single track to longer adventure trips. By adding an additional OS-Adventure Pack as a top bag, it is possible to extend the carrying capacity to up to 54 litres.
The flexible design of the OS-BASE also allows to mount other bags, such as the earlier model KRIEGA Overlander 15 packs, as panniers as well as the KRIEGA US-Drypacks as top bags and includes ‘Loop Mounts' to attach a tent, a sleeping mat etc.
The unique KRIEGA OS-Rack Loops mounting system which is included in the delivery provides a very tough and reliable solution to the demands of off-road luggage carrying. The loops are fastened by either screwing them directly to the rear fender (drill hole size: 6 mm each) or by fixing them to a luggage rack.
Note: If the OS-BASE is in contact with the exhaust silencer, a heat shield needs to be fitted. For this, we recommend the use of the Altrider Heat Shield one (available separately).

High-quality heat shield by ALTRIDER, reliably protecting any soft luggage from the high temperatures generated by the exhaust. The 1/8” (3.2 mm) aluminum is secured using a universal stainless steel clamp. The shield also utilizes high temperature silicon strips to isolate the heat shield – increasing cooling and preventing the shield from scratching the exhaust.
