High-quality clear headlight guard by ALTRIDER, suitable for the Yamaha Tenere 700 models mentioned below.
Constructed in the United States from 3/16 inch (4.7 mm) thick scratch-resistant polycarbonate, the ALTRIDER headlight guard is made of extremely strong, impact-resistant polycarbonate - the same material as bullet-proof windows. This material is formulated with a hardened scratch-resistant surface, both front and rear. The dual lenses are secured with two 1/16 inch (2 mm) laser-cut textured powder coat steel brackets that are extremely resistant to rust and weathering.
The headlight guard mounts to four factory hard points by way of two 1/16 inch (2 mm) laser-cut steel mounting brackets, using custom-machined aluminum ball studs and rubber sockets to mount the lens to the frame. The no-tools quick-release system allows for easy removal of the face for cleaning.
NOTE: Polycarbonate will react to certain chemicals and requires specific care to be cleaned correctly and kept looking good for the long haul. Improper cleaning can result in scratches, hazing surface and cracking.
