ALTRIDER presents the only linkage on the market with an integrated plastic protection which does not transmit any shocks like other rigid protection devices and does not stick to the linkage like aluminium. This highly robust and durable linkage is used to adjust the suspension in order to either lower or raise the seat height. The seat can be lowered by 12 mm (0.4 inches) or by 25 mm (1 inches), or raised by 6 mm (0.24 inches) or 19 mm (0.75 inches), both in comparison with the factory height. Lowering the seat is recommended to make it easier and more comfortable to place both feet on the ground when stopping on uneven terrain or for more safety in traffic, i. e. generally to ensure a stable standing. On the other hand, the linkage allows the suspension height to be gradually raised in order to suit the rider's improving skills.
