High-quality variable height suspension linkage by ALTRIDER, tailor-made for the Aprilia Tuareg 660 model. ALTRIDER presents the only linkage on the market with an integrated plastic protection which does not transmit any shocks like other rigid protection devices and does not stick to the linkage like aluminium.
This highly robust and durable linkage is used to adjust the suspension in order to either lower or raise the seat height. The seat can be lowered by 19 mm (0.74 inches) or by 32 mm (1.25 inches), or raised by 6 mm (0.24 inches) or 20 mm (0.78 inches), both in comparison with the factory height.
Lowering the seat is recommended to make it easier and more comfortable to place both feet on the ground when stopping on uneven terrain or for more safety in traffic, i. e. generally to ensure a stable standing. On the other hand, the linkage allows the suspension height to be gradually raised in order to suit the rider's impriving skills.
The adjustments are made using inserts in which the seat height setting is engraved by laser. Each insert has two different holes and can be rotated in two different ways, so that a total of four different ride heights are possible (see above).
In combination with the innovative, Adjustable Aluminum Side Stand by ALTRIDER for the Aprilia 660 Tuareg (available separately, see below), the ALTRIDER height suspension linkage always provides reliable support, regardless of how the suspension height is set.

Note: Lowering or raising the rear of the motorcycle changes the geometry and handling of the vehicle. Therefore, please make the necessary adjustments to the fork height in order to adapt it to the original geometry or to the respective riding preferences!
